Speak to Sentry Ferin in Shadeweavers Thicket, he roams back and forth along the western road.  Tell him "I will champion their cause" and he will hand you a Venerated Cask (six slot container). 

 

Fill the Cask with six Poached Hides (No Drop) which drop off of Lodi Kai throughout the zone.  Save any Lodi Kai Blood that drops, you will need it later. 

 

Once you have all six hides hit combine and return the Cask to Sentry Ferin.  You will receive experience and:

 

A Hero's Shroud

Magic Item No Drop

AC 5, STR 1, svC 5

Class: WAR, SHM, BRD, ROG, BST

Race: OGR, VAH, BAR, TRL, IKS

 

Repeat the above quest to get a second A Hero's Shroud (or do the quest three times if you wish to keep one A Hero's Shroud to wear). 

 

Speak with Kojinn Kaa in Shadeweavers Thicket, say "I am a hero" and hand him one of the A Hero's Shroud.  He will return your A Hero's Shroud and you will receive a Champion Cape Pattern. 

 

In a Sewing Kit or Loom combine two A Hero's Shroud, Champion Cape Pattern, and one Shadeling Thread (combine two Shadeling Silks from Xakra Silkworms or Lesser Shades in Shadeweavers Thicket to make Shadeling Thread).  This combine is not trivial at 30 in Tailoring, but is possible. 

 

Bring the Champion's Cape you craft to Priestess Bast in Shadeweavers Thicket (to the left when you enter Shadeweavers from Shar Vahl) and hand her the Cape along with three unstacked Lodi Kai Blood.  You will receive experience and:

 

Blessed Champions Cape

Lore Item Magic Item No Drop
