Speak with Hoyce MacTaegan in Halas and he will ask you to bring him items in return for armor. He is located in a hut across from the Barbarian Beastlord Guildmaster. You can start this quest at level 3. The armor is wearable by all of the Beastlord classes, but is really useful for Barbarians (since it starts in Halas) and Vah Shir since they do not have thier own version of this quest like the other races do.

(Combine two Spiderling Silks off of Wooly Spiderlings in a Sewing Kit or Loom to make one Silk Thread, combine one Cap Pattern which is vendor sold and one Ruined Bear Pelt in a Sewing Kit or Loom to make a Large Tattered Skullcap).
